I know, I talk about it allllll the time, sorry not sorry! This blog post is basically just an update on our plans for the trip. We’ve made some changes and updates to our Disney World holiday and so I thought I’d update you lovely lot! We’ve changed our hotel – I let my Instagram followers choose the hotel
Okay, so being as indecisive as we are, me and Nathan have been humming and harring about which hotel we should stay at. Originally we booked a condo at Summer Bay Resort and I really loved the look of it and the idea of having a full condo instead of just a room. However we continued to look on websites and ended up cancelled it because we wanted to be a bit closer and so switched to the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. When we booked this hotel, I was pretty sure that this was the hotel. It’s a stunning hotel and looks really grand. The lazy river was a selling point for me! The only thing is, its a bit pricey! A few nights ago me and Nathan started talking about hotels which lead me to have a quick browse on Expedia for our dates and I found a really good deal for The Holiday Inn Disney Springs Area. We couldn’t decide what to do. Do we cancel the Wyndham and book the Holiday Inn or do we just keep our reservation at the Wyndham? I’m sure we asked this questions about 10 times. So what else do you do when you can’t decide? Let your Instagram followers decide of course! So I put uploaded some stories on Instagram with pros and cons of both hotels and decided that I’ll go with whatever hotel has the most votes. By the next day, Wyndham had 51 votes and The Holiday Inn had 248 votes. My decision was made and we went on Expedia and cancelled our reservation at the Wyndham and booked the Holiday Inn, this time a non refundable booking so theres no going back now! I’m really happy with this decision to be honest. The Holiday Inn made the most sense because of the location and had the best benefits since its a Walt Disney World Partner hotel, so now we will be able to get the 60 day early fastpass and hopefully will score a fast pass or two for Avatar flight of passage, Slinky dog and a few more of the popular rides. Since we are staying during Christmas and new year, those early fast passes are pretty much needed since the crowds will be VERY high. Pray for me, I’m so nervous for how crowded it’ll be! Regardless, it’ll still be magical.
We’ve made a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant
We are finally dining in the beasts castle! Last week we were finally at the 180 days to go mark which meant that we could start making dining reservations. Of course, Be Our Guest was at the top of our list. We managed to get a reservation for lunch on Christmas Day and I’m so exited about this! I honestly didn’t think that we would be able to get a reservation because it gets booked up so quick but we did and I can’t wait. Of course Ill be sharing my experience there with all of you on my Instagram stories, and I’ll let you’s know what I think of it. We didn’t get to go on our last trip in February so this will be our first time. The decor looks absolutely beautiful and I honestly think I’m more exited for the amazing theming of the rooms rather than the food. I’ve got my Belle ears hairband at the ready!
And thats it so far. I’m in the middle of deciding what other dining reservations I want to book. So we’ve only booked the one at the minute but I’d like to book a couple more. If any of you’s have any recommendations and must do Disney restaurants then please let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear all of your favourite restaurants at Disney!
Thanks for reading, Have THE BEST day xo
